Mydd Pharo

I’m Mydd, and I work with people, their minds, bodies, nervous systems and inner worlds, here on the wild edge of West Cornwall.

For much of my life, I’ve been exploring what it means to feel more fully connected to ourselves — to our emotions, our bodies, our stories, and the quieter parts of our inner landscape that often go unheard. My practice brings together Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, Reiki, somatic bodywork, massage, energy healing and ritual-based approaches, offering support that is both grounded and intuitive.

I believe healing can happen on many levels at once. Sometimes through conversation and understanding. Sometimes through the body softening out of survival. Sometimes through deep rest, imagination, symbolism, or simply being listened to with care and attention.

Every session is collaborative and responsive to you. There is no single way the work unfolds. For some people, hypnotherapy becomes a space to shift patterns, ease anxiety, build confidence, or reconnect with possibility. For others, body-based work, breath, visualisation, or energetic practices help create a sense of regulation, release and reconnection. Often, these approaches weave together naturally.

My work is trauma-informed, inclusive and affirming. I welcome all bodies, genders, sexualities, identities and lived experiences. I aim to create a space where you can arrive exactly as you are — without pressure to perform, explain, or become anything other than yourself.

Alongside this work, I am also a Theatre Director, Designer and Artist, and creativity deeply informs the way I hold space. Story, imagination, symbolism, nature and ritual all shape my understanding of healing and transformation.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me walking the ancient Cornish coastline, drawing, writing, making art, or exploring the small magics woven through everyday life.

I am currently training as a Soul Midwife/Death Doula with Felicity Warner through the International Soul Midwives School.

My main practice space is a calm, light-filled studio at my home in Penzance, just a short walk from the sea. I also travel across the UK for workshops, collaborations and tailored sessions.

I hope to meet you soon
